Sexual and Emotional Harassment Injuries

DO YOU SUFFER FROM THE EFFECTS OF SEXUALLY AND EMOTIONALLY HARASSING CONDUCT?

You Need Our Dominant and Tenacious Legal Team on YOUR side.

Sexual harassment and emotional harassment is unfortunately far too common in the workplace. An affected worker often feels that the situation is out of their control. The injured worker objectively and intuitively feels the harassment but it's often hard for the injured worker to define it, put their finger on it, and/or avoid it. Over time, the sexual harassing and emotionally harassing treatment may cause an injured worker to be unhappy at work, to be intimidated at work, to fear confronting an abuser at work, to lose sleep, to dread going to work, to lose interest in their daily activities, to withdraw, and to become depressed. Often as this happens, the mistreatment at work escalates because the injured worker just can't seem to perform their duties which leads to further pressure and possibly disciplinary action.

Now not all situations reach this level before an injured worker seeks help, but plenty do. If the above description or something similar to it seems "too close to home," then you may be suffering from the effects of sexual and/or emotional harassment at work.

Sexual Harassment can occur in many ways, but here is a partial list:

   >  Flirting at work                                                  > Lewd or offense sexual words/expressions at work

   >  Being threatened if you refuse to date, flirt       >  Pornographic images

   >  Sexual notes in your work space                       > Brain injury from an auto or truck accident

   >  Improper touching at work                                > Brain injury from falling down stairs

   >  Being required to perform sexual acts               > Being watched in a sexual way, improper comments

   >  Being assigned other duties in retaliation for your refusal to engage in sexual activity

Emotional Harassment can also occur in  many ways, again here is a partial list:

   >  Being isolated                                                 > Being repeatedly called on your off hours

   >  Being instructed in a critical tone                   >  Being ridiculed in front of  others

   >  Being called names                                         > Being slighted at meetings, get togethers

   >  Having your work sabotaged                          > Being given other duties as punishment

   >  Being denied sick/vacation day requests        > Being constantly monitored or watched for a mistake

There are so many variations of sexually and/or emotionally harassing conduct that it is impossible to created a list.  Sexual and emotional harassment occurs in all fields and happens to all types of people.
